Our NVQ Courses in Dry Lining

The way in which we gather evidence to meet the criteria include witness statements, videos, photographs, professional discussions, direct observations and can include previous units/qualifications gained from recent qualifications/courses taken that we can use as recognized prior learning.

Course Content:
NVQ L2 Dry Lining Boarder qualification units to be undertaken.

Mandatory units

  • Conforming to General Health, Safety and Welfare in the Workplace
  • Conforming to Productive Working Practices in the Workplace
  • Installing Plasterboard Linings in the Workplace
  • Moving, Handling and Storing Resources in the Workplace

Who Is It For:

This assessment process is for Dry Lining Boarders who have experience in working as a Dry Lining Boarder and need the qualification to obtain a CSCS card. This could be 2 years of experience or 50 years’ experience. The Level of qualification will depend on experience you have, this will be identified with an IAG (Information and Guidance) meeting over the phone. The Level 2 NVQ in Tiling gives you access to the blue skilled workers card, this is accepted on construction sites across the whole of the UK.

NVQ L2 Dry Lining Finisher qualification units to be undertaken

Mandatory Units

  • Conforming to General Health, Safety and Welfare in the Workplace
  • Conforming to Productive Working Practices in the Workplace
  • Finishing Dry Lining Walls and Ceilings in the Workplace
  • Moving, Handling and Storing Resources in the Workplace

Assessment Procedure:

Conducted through a combination of on-site assessments and remote evaluations, ensuring flexibility and convenience for participants. This will be decided upon first contact with the IAG (Information and Guidance) meeting/phone call to what is required.

Designed for experienced Dry Liners looking to advance their skills and take on more complex projects and responsibilities.

Includes Boarding or Finishing techniques.

Assessment:

Assessments are tailored to demonstrate competency through practical assignments, on-site evaluations, and remote/direct assessments.

Each NVQ L2 course is  £800.00 inc VAT.
